Description: We know who Jesus is: He existed from the beginning, He is the Word of Life, eternal life, the giver of joy. He is the light, the truth, our salvation, our advocate and our atonement. These are all things we’ve learned about Jesus in 1st John up through this point. And since we know these things, we should have the desire to be obedient to his commands.
